Default Loss of medical insurance

What type of program does AA have? At Airways its through Harvey Watt. I was wondering if its the same at AA or is it something through the APA similar to the program ALPA has? Also, if it is through the APA, could anyone post the current rates? Thanks!

Is it too in depth to ask what coverage you have, or a link to what coverage is available?

Wow!!! That's 3 times the cost of Harvey Watt. At least for the coverage I was looking at.

Any recommendations that don't have an income offset for the payout?

Age/payout has to be compared.

55-59 bracket, $4800/month/7 yrs = $258/month

Try https://app.piu.org/piu7/Pilot

It is administered by Peterson International and underwritten by Lloyd's of London.

This UPS pilot put it together:

He brought a similar policy out last year for the UPS pilots that I enrolled for.

As far as the income offset, you'll have to check your particular union/company policy for the details on that. The Sun Life group LTD policy through the IPA has no offset for "Individual disability income benefits."

This Lloyd's of London policy has no offset and stacks on top of our LTD policy. The policy for UPS pilots is $30K per year for Captains and $18K per year for F/O's.

It looks like the one he introduced for American, Delta, United, Southwest and FedEx has flexible benefits and premiums instead of a flat amount like the one for us.

Good luck.
