they said they are going to implement as much of the mou on day one as possible . To me that means all the trip rigs, duty rigs, pay and days off should be done asap. There is no excuse why they shouldn't be. I can understand pbs but that is slated to get started on jan 1.

After years with Chainsaw Al and the Jerry Glass school of labor relations I'm in the "If it favors the company it will be implemented immediately, if it favors the pilots then computers will have to be reprogrammed and we'll get back to you" camp.

Have you read the MOU????? There is nothing in the MOU about scheduling!!!!! NOTHING!!!!!! Scheduling will be a JCBA issue. And PBS is not slated to begin Jan 1st. Where do you get your information? It isn't from the right sources, that's for certain. Expect PBS in the second half of 2014, probably the later of the second half. Your demands are duly noted.

Usapa roadshow mentions days off in their glossy sales magazine for the merger. It shows the 12/13 days off so that's probably why there is confusion as to whether its mou or jcba.

So if POR is approved by the judge on Thursday do we start our new pay rates and get our retro pay check or do we have to wait for Dept of Justice approval.
MOU says POR date, just courious.

The hearing is 15th but his decision is expected 2 weeks later. The por is when he renders his decision, the DJ doesn't factor into it.

There were over a hundred open bid positions left over on the November bid. So reducing "headcount" by 22 means that we didn't have 122 unfilled bid positions instead of just 100.
