Usapa thinks it found a loophole that lets them out of the MOU. They plan on using it if the west prevails in phx so they can hold the merger hostage. I don't worry about it at all but it goes to show what lunatics these guys are.

Perhaps your post just wasn't that compelling...The fact is there are many parallels to be drawn between DPA and USAPA. Luckily, DPA will never have the critical mass to inflict the damage that USAPA has.
I would think the next generation of regional pilots to go to the majors would been keen to not be represented by the union that failed to stop regional outsourcing.

Seems to me that would throw a wrench in the merger integration plans and thus jiggling the merger itself (nothing more). The interests of big business would steam roll over that in a New York minute (literally, if Lane is involved). All it would result in would be alienating the one segment of those concerned not yet alienated...........the APA (AA pilots collectively).

Not that it would matter much. A judge will boot any such hail mary nonsense to the curb so we can move forward to the next arbitration where you know the future U SLI with AA is going. I make no prognostication on how this conflict will resolve itself list wise, but it holding up the merger is a non-starter.

[QUOTE=Gallifrey;1474322]Wait what..? Who wants out of the MOU? This stuff needs to be resolved soon. Then I don't have to read these threads any more [/QUO

This is all shenanigans tomfoolery ballyhoo. Do not fall for it. Not happening. Absurd to even suggest- I don't know if you are trying to make a point or if you are just that gullible but if you are interested in researching this, go back and read all of the past threads on this subject and decide for yourself who has threatened to hold the merger and USAirways hostage. It is all right there in print. ALL that you need to do is click on the main names that regularly post on this topic.

BTW this (the Nic) will not be resolved any time soon but it will not affect the merger.
