Now, the money question....."my friend" also has about a dozen speeding tickets before he graduated as well 20 years ago. Would he list them? He's having the darnedest time finding any specific info on them to include on an app.

I don't think there is a spot on the AA application for speeding tickets.

They want your employment history from high school forward.

Oh, that's why it was easy to fill out that part of the app...still two jobs:D

I'm getting an error on my AA App. I have a gap in employment from one job to the next, however, during this gap, I was in college full-time, which is entered correctly in the education section.

Is this normal that the sections don't talk to each other? The system seems to want me to correct the gap. I haven't heard back from AApilotsupport yet.

Thanks,

Ultra

Fixed it. While not entirely intuitive, you add an 'employer' in the employment section, enter the appropriate dates, and label it 'enrolled in school'. That fixes the gap error.

I asked AA Pilot Credentials Support, and they said 10 years. Can't hurt to go further i'd guess.

Yeah, that is the std because of the required background check. I didn't mind going back further, as I could include my prev. 121 gig, thinking that might make my app a bit more competitive...

When you interview with LAA, assume your make it through the process, how or when do you find out you are going to LAA or LUS? I know when you go to LUS you are directed to the LAA pilot App site. Ive sumitted to the LAA App site, am I automaticly considered for LUS or due to the merger is it all the same??
