What? Not DL? UA? SW? As a young guy you've probably got a very competitive resume. Add in a positive outlook and you'd shine at a job fair.

I don't see a positive future for US airlines in general, particularly the big 3. I do think SWA has a bright future though.

I'm hitting the job fairs this year. If I can't get on at UPS or FDX then I guess I'll ride it out at AA.

Be sure and tell 'em that in the interview. Do everyone (including yourself) a favor.

You'll do fine at AA, bunch of old farts retiring, 787 guys first.

Seriously. You should say exactly THAT in the interview. Just work in "slumming."

Considering he's been applying to the cargo carriers and not pax airlines that's a valid answer when he's asked why are you leaving AA or why FedEx over Delta

To each their own.

You don't fly all night in your 787?

----Do much trolling?

Truth be told (try it sometime), there are a whole bunch of Eastie A330 Captains heading out waaay before I leave. Most of the guys I fly with used to be N/B Captains who decided getting the same money for more time off works better for them.
