USAir iPads
Does anyone know the current status of iPads for us airways pilots?
When are they expected? What charts will be on them..jepp? Lido? What model iPad will it be? Will the company provide a way/software for Catcrew access on them? |
Soon?
Jepp??? Cheapest version? Doubtful. |
Who cares? The charts are in the plane. They can keep their I pad. They will make us pay for it somehow.

All your company pubs go on there, too. As well as 10,000+ apps. Like Kindle. And free USA Today. Reading your favorite stuff becomes easy when flying with a tool. "Hey there, what's so interesting on that iPad?" <swipe kindle novel into oblivion> "Oh just getting ready for my next sim ride; studying limitations..." :D |
I was told if the program fails for whatever reason(s), we will go back to carrying chart cases, not ship sets.
