Simple fix- pull the offender our of CASS. If he doesn't want to extend the convenience of the jump seat to others, then he shouldn't be able to benefit from it either. Best part is, even if he doesn't jump seat, he won't be able to use Known Crew Member : )

Problem is the Union doesn't determine who is in CASS. The Company does. And KCM is exactly the reason the Company will keep him in CASS.

This guy was an idiot for doing what he did.
But you guys need to be very careful for calling for some kind of reprimand for it. The last thing we need is a standard to be set where pilots can be disciplined for not accepting a jumpseater.
If you want it to continue to be our jumpseat, then it has to be that way 100%... and that, unfortunately, means that stuff like this will happen from time to time.
