Default Invitation to the Video Interview, no link

Late last week I received the invitation to complete the video interview but the email was void of a link or any instructions. I left a voicemail for the recruiter who sent me the email on Friday but have yet to hear back. I have until the close of business on Monday to complete the process.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They have all been away at the Women in Aviation conference. If you have an email that you can access through the web, try going thru the web and checking if the links are removed. Sometimes your spam filter can act funny.

Last week the entire pilot hiring dept has been checked out (women in aviation) Maybe this week you will get a response from somebody.

I wish I had checked my email and saw this issue while I was there. I attended all 3 days including 2 AA briefings and spoke twice with them. Tonight I sent an email to her so I'll just wait and hopefully she gets back to be quickly since my deadline is the close of business tomorrow (Monday, March 10th).

A buddy of mine and I did video interviews about a week and a half ago, haven't heard a thing. Another Hopefully its due to WIA... Hopefully.

Did you get direct email links for the three in the hiring department?

Anybody else hear back from recent video interviews?

Congrats! And best of luck! I was told at WIA it takes 2-3 weeks to hear back after the video. I was also told that over 90% of those who do the video get called to DFW.

Direct email links? All the email says is that they are excited about me moving on and that I must complete the video interview no later than the close of business on Monday, March 10th. At the bottom of the email is her email addresses and phone number. I've left a message and sent an email, now I just wait. It sure wouldn’t be very funny if this was sent to me in error.

BTW, what were your times? MIL or CIV?

Hello, congrats on getting video interview. How many days do you get to finish video. I have heard 5 days. Does this mean I have to start carrying my laptop
When I am out flying?
Or is it possible to do video portion with a forward facing iPhone. Thanks

You can do the video interview on laptops, tablets, phones etc. Anything that has a camera on it and you can access the link. Before you start the video interview you have ample opportunity to test your laptop/phone/tablet for video and sound. You can practice recording and playback indefinitely. You can also stop if it's not working, so you aren't committed until you click ready to proceed to the video interview. You have five days to complete. But talking with the American recruitment team they are flexible with that and understand that some are on trips, out of the country, etc. Just contact them and coordinate an extension if needed. They are an awesome group and only want to see you succeed. From my point of view, it only benefits you to get it done earlier rather than later. The videos get queued up and looked at, so I imagine first in first out. And hopefully the email for dob/Ssn and the following email invite to Dallas! As an aside, they have been backed up with wia and meetings. With my interview group getting the call on Monday this week and hired, hope the rest of you start seeing responses as they get caught up in the office. Regardless, best of luck!
