You answered my question with a question.
I don't know. But after S20B+ (that's $20,000,000,000+) profits from 2015 through 2018, $1.7B for 2019 (that's $1,700,000,000) doesn't seem outlandish.
You're the one with the red-hot calculator, what's your answer?

Not true. Approving this deal will raise labor costs by $650 million per year more than the MTA. But don't take my word for it, here read:
Proposed pilot contract would raise American?s 2015 labor costs by $650 million | Dallas Morning News

Read it again. That's $650 million for 2015 only. One year. Not per year.
The payday loan advance will of course cost the Company money to provide in year 1.
Now slither away and try again later, you pilot hating snake in the grass.

Anyone that thins Parker hasn't mapped out every scenario and is okay with every one is a moron.
One simple straight forward question. My apologies if you've already addressed this. If the Cadillac Tax was on par with the pension loss, why didn't Kirby jump on the BOD's offer to ratify with calendar day with both feet?...

You could learn something from Kirby. He wanted more, he said, "No."
Lesson #1: Negotiations are not over until both sides say "yes".
