Thank you for the reminder. There is no way to ever prove it wasn't rigged by some savvy programmers (on DUI's pay roll, or APA's). We have all been passionate about something we have absolutely no control over, in more ways than we care to admit.

UAL and DAL have historically been paid well above AA and have had much better contracts to boot. AA will even have rates above them for the time being yet people still are causing a fit. It's no secret that of the top carriers AA was in the bottom until the Airways bankruptcy deals. DAL and UAL have paid better overall long term and yet they continue to get raises. I wouldn't worry about what they think, they have a very limited understanding about how the rate reset even works.

But voting no would leave us with a subpar contract and rates the average of the other two. We're going to be further behind voting no than yes.
On a recent union phone call the negotiators were essentially begging guys to vote yes. All this fear that people have come up with is completely unfounded.
When does this end? I forgot. I thought it was 930 am central, correct?

But my W2 is more important than my payrate. Just don't want people to fall for payrates.

Congrats to the yes voters. While I think this is bad long term the majority voted for it. So be it.
Most importantly texaspilot can finally pay his bills!

Too bad the LA Reps didn't have the integrity to live by that adage when the BOD passed the counter offer.
Too bad Wilson didn't live by it, but chose instead to invent his own negotiating ultimatum (nothing but retropay letter to Kirby).
Now that the subversives have clawed on top, everyone has to have integrity.. now. (NewsFlash to subversives... The no voters have had integrity all along.
)On the bright side, there are fewer Sky Flowers among us than I thought.
