Rank- you have a committee. What your committee decides to do is up to them, not the APA. There is no DFR if your committee decides they do not want to participate.
It's over- welcome to the Nic

Didn't you guys say your east controlled committee could and would represent east and west. What's wrong with the west committee representing you guys too? Sorry, couldn't resist. My guess is the APA could appoint an east committee, but it still would be bound by the Nic. Is that USAPA's plan? Change the name on the door and we don't have to abide by the rules? If that's the plan, I don't think you'll get the same delay mileage out of it as you did the first time. Best of luck.

At first I thought USAPA should represent us both because they were the legal CBA of all of us. But eagelfly actually helped change my mind and I said that you should have your own committee. If the MOU called for 3 lists(the lists currently in effect) then logic dictated 3 committees.

You're a reasonable guy beancounter. What if the shoe was on the other foot and your committee walked out. What would you want to have happen? Would you want things to go on with the APA representing you? Especially after seeing their opener? Would you want an new committee? Would you like them to have a little time to spool up? You know there are a lot of guys over here that didn't support USAPA, what about them? What about the 3rd listers, most of whom never thought USAPA gave any thought to?

You guys have been trying to shutdown USAPA since SCS. There is a hearing on that tomorrow. What's the difference if you do it or they do it?

Apparently I don't!

Sorry, but you and I both know what would happen if the west committee walked out. What I think should happen doesn't matter. If I had to guess at what will happen, I'd say we're moving on, but we'll just have to see if the arbitrators and the APA go for USAPA's antics.... or not.

No, I don't, enlighten me and how about answering my other questions.

Yes you do!

And besides, Usapa argued repeatedly they represent the west, so if that's true then the west will represent you as well (via the Nicolau list).

I don't think so. The APA has been tripping over themselves to avoid any DFR. I don't think they will do that. We'll see, but I think we are attached to our lists that are "currently in effect" for a while yet.

It's blatantly obvious what you guys are trying to do. Play coy if you want to, that's your choice. Maybe you can get the APA to go along with it, but I'm not so sure about the arbitrators, we'll see. Have a good night.

The 9th just disagreed with you on that premise. US (east and west) has one list being advocated for: Nicolau.
It's over, Rank. Time to move on
