The rest of the domestic NB fleet does hot meals, not that I'm suggesting that they are any better than what you had in the pic.

I don't think there's much to complain about with these meals. Reasonably healthy and fresh, and served on real plates with silverware. The 190 doesn't have any ovens, so hot meals aren't an option.
They are not reasonably healthy at all. Processed meats, high sodium contents, chemicals on salads. I wouldn't serve them to any of my family members.

*IF* you get them, they are on the same level as your regular airport food.

For some reason, the company decided to discontinue crew meals on some Caribbean day turns (~ 8 hours flying, 10 + hours of duty time).

If you have an issue with the quality of crew meals, you should contact the CP office (key word: safety).

That's a long time with no food. People should pack food and bring it with them. Yes when I was a commuter it made it tougher but it's doable. Living in base now its ridiculously easy to pack enough healthy food for a three or four day. I just think it's sad that people don't treat their body better. On a typical three day I'll eat out once on the layover but that's about it.

Chemicals on the salad? If you are worried about the chemicals you better watch out for Dihydrogen monoxide. 100% of the people that ingest it will die!

I think the takeaway from my seeing this a thousand times before on the internet is that I ingest too much internet

Crew meals are usually of very good quality and taste pretty good. It's funny how some of you complain about crew meals and at the same time have no problem drinking water out of a bathroom sink right after you take a sh!t...

You couldn't do that on the 727. Before you could focus, the S/O would have eaten your sandwich.
