Drinks, this got me thinking. I didn't see how there could be so little difference for you since the AAPSIC essentially wanted to staple east guys from 12/87 on. So I went back and looked at the numbers.

I don't know who you are, so I couldn't pull yours numbers. But you said that you were hired a few months prior to the snapshot, so I went into the east proposal(the only one with dates of hire on it) and pulled an east guy hired mid Oct 2013. I won't use his name, but here is what I came up with.

The east proposal had him at about 14,000 out of about 15,000. The AAPSIC had him about 950 number junior, at almost the bottom. As of 12/2016 the east proposal would have him at about 13% from the bottom, the LAA abut 7% from the bottom. At retirement the LAA proposal would have him 200 numbers junior to what the east proposal would.

The west proposal is better for this guy, but still not as good as the east's.

These are huge numbers, and I would think worth a few hundred numbers.

One of us has the wrong numbers. Have you seem the spreadsheet where you can plug your number in and see all 3 proposals?

One number can be the difference in the last job and the first furloughed guy. The bottom captain. Christmas off.

Seems to me at that point, some would want a refund.
The results are up to the panel. Our committee and attorneys did a good job of defending us. You haven't gotten sqaut from the money you've poured in to AOL, you want it back? Since you didn't, do you regret the fight?
BTW, how's it going trying to get the money you lost out of usapa's hide?

Then why are they asking for money for a "multi year lawsuit?"

The EPSIC. Previous email. I think this is what got a lot of people wondering what they were doing with the money.

Do you still have it? If so copy and paste the relevant part, i don't have them.

I don't remember anything about a lawsuit, but the committee has to handle post award disputes. Like if a guy gets fenced out of a bid and thinks it's not proper. That's what I think they are talking about. Standard stuff in a SLI.

It's termed "funding for a multi-year dispute resolution process"

What's the money going toward? The work that's been done or the multi-year process that may or may not take place? Ask the epsic where the money is going. They won't tell you. I'd be more than happy to donate if you tell me where the dough is going...
