It was a Compass joke about getting 787s, and a FA asking about the company opening a SNA base because a lot of FAs live near there, etc., as my original reply was responding to the someone's mention of the ongoing Atlas "the contract is coming" joke. Lots of CPZ folk here at Atlas now and I think we salivate over even a hint of memes and self deprecation.

It’s a Compass thing. Same with the “big news next Friday”. It was the carrot they dangled in front of everyone when the rumors of a deal with UA was coming. The 787 thing a COO joked about on an employee call once,and the SNA base was suggested by a FA. The Compass Fugees probably get the reference
