You arguably, made a poor decision by electing to work at Atlas. Your managers are not responsible to subsidize your poor decision with a larger paycheck , anymore than you’re obligated to subsidize theirs.

They are free to run their business anyway they see fit.
You are free to seek employment anyplace you choose.

How’s that for fairness?

I didn't mention anything about "fairness" as that is not a concept I embrace. However, you only discussed the option of leaving for other employment while ignoring the other option.

We elect to stay and use our collective bargaining power as provided to us by U.S. Federal Law to bring about change to our working conditions and pay. If management doesn't like that, then they can seek employment elsewhere as some of them have already and more of them probably should.

From another thread on apc:

Omni is hiring Street Captains.

The below is reported company minimums:

Either

A: 6000tt and 2000 pic

Or

B: 3000tt and 500 in company aircraft and 2 years as operating crew member.

I’ve seen the 2 years waved; must still meet hourly minimums.

Also must have at least 1000 121 SIC.

None of the ACMI’s are a United or Delta; heck they aren’t a Fedex/UPS either. So, kinda curious who it is these comparisons are with....

The comparisons are with companies that are competing for the same pilots that Atlas/Southern is competing for, to include:

Commutair
Raven
SkyWest
Delta
UPS
China Southern
Qatar
NetJets
Menards
John Deere
Boeing
etc., etc.

Massive losses of Amazon and DHL flying forecast to start in January due to performance standards not being met. Amazon put AAWH on notice last Spring to get their labor s*#t together or they would take their business elsewhere. Apparently that fell on deaf ears because the company made not one iota of change other that cutting back block hours several times for other major customers like AMC to shore up Amazon. It didn’t work and apparently a red line has been crossed. Other airlines that can attract sufficient pilots will start carrying more of the Prime Air load next year.

Looks like we’ll end up with just 3 TA’s signed for 2019. All the low hanging fruit, nothing agreed to in all the economic, Qol articles or scope just current book or concessions proposed. Only 18 more TA’s needed to finish a CBA.

I wish the best for all my friends and previous coworkers there, I was lucky to be able to vote with my feet. Real shame that negotiations continue unchanged.

It should also be noted. That management themselves have stated (via email and video message) they are done negotiating any non economic articles. They apparently are satisfied with all the current book QOL articles. Must be nice to just say 'We're done take it or leave it' without any effort in negotiating said articles.

Do we have any sources on the forthcoming losses of business?

Is travel on your days off or days o (the 17?) if you have gateway base?

Also how the guarantee works? If it’s 4.85 per day how are people only getting paid for 62hours?

The union, ground staff ie station managers and other sources. 10 aircraft transfers has been rumored but recently heard we may only be keeping the 767 pax aircraft. All the Amazon west coast flying seems to be going away after 4th qtr. The company released a lot more vacations next year on the 767 that they were holding back slots in anticipation of the cuts in block hours. Pilots are the new currency and Atlas will NOT pay for that coin.

The purpose of those 1.5 million retention bonuses for the execs if they stay till Dec 2021 is becoming more clear.
