Default Masks?

I was wondering if anyone could inform me of cargo airline mask policy and culture (culture being what most people actually do).

I want to know if people are having to wear masks walking thru the hangar, in the flight deck, in the Jumpseat and in training, particularly ground school. Trying to find a gig that requires significantly less mask wearing than 121 PAX.

If you don’t like the mask policy here in the US, Cargo isn’t going to be any better internationally. Masks policies are going to be the same across the board at a lot of places. It’s just a damn mask, wear it.

So it's not about salary, schedules, career progression or benefits, you'd get a job based on how much you gotta wear a mask?

Try the other Miami 36th Street ACMI outfits.

Really, you're going to make a career decision based on whether or not you have to wear a mask. I hope this is a joke!

Give the guy a break. I don’t think any of us actually enjoy donning a mask at work… He’s willing to consider leaving a job at either an LCC or Legacy and ask the question about what it’s like in the Cargo world…

At the AMCI I work for, in CONUS it depends on the state, OCONUS you mask all the way to the flight deck. Everywhere, once the door is closed it's up to the individuals on the crew. I have yet to see someone mask for an entire flight. Then once you land, internationally, it's mask all the way to your hotel room. CONUS, once again it depends on local policies.
