This ain’t about paying dues, it’s just the way Atlas works, they own you for 17 days and depending on their needs, they’ll build more 30 day lines or more 60 day lines (this is the case).
Some people prefer working one block and enjoying one big block of days off, and some people prefer the opposite.

Other fleets may be different of course.

Question Curious

With the 24 month seat freeze, would a 737 new hire be able to reach the required 500 hrs 121 for a transfer? Thank you.

I believe one needs 500 hours of 121 time in order to hold a Captain bid, this may be what he is referring to,

‘ICN and HHN are usually the two major out bases these days….
