That is correct. Thanks for the clarification. It was not my intention to imply that we only agreed to half of a contract before sending it to the arbitrator.

312 or so open items from what I understand! If any of you at Atlas think the arbitrator is going to have an opinion on open sections in scheduling, well be prepared to be extremely disappointed.

Some areas, I expect him to say current book to save himself the trouble.

Of course that 25% left is almost all of the important stuff... Retirement and Insurance, Pay rates, Scope...

I hope I'm wrong but I'm expecting a ton of that. I'm thinking he might split the baby on rates, but if I were him then how would I know what to think of how work rule improvements would really play out? He's a legal expert. I'm guessing he'll think to himself, "They'll figure out that themselves on the next Section 6 in 5 years" not caring that Atlas management plans to buy Amerijet the next time...

Rates and retirement is where I think he will split and MMG. But the actual language is where I think he will say current book. Hopefully, management will come to their senses and have a productive sit-down with the Union at the table.

At this point if you could get a few percent extra out of the retirement that'd be huge. I'm excited to read it to see what yall get. You deserve a great contract.

A few percent? That’s not what I would call huge. Quite the opposite. The fact that the multi-millionaire execs thought a single percentage point increase (to a whopping 6% match) was generous - is all you have to know about how little they value the pilots here. It’s insultingly low. Even the LLCs are over twice that as just a simple direct contribution. We need to aim a little higher.

We can aim as high as we’ll want, I’ll be surprised if we can get the number we want from the Arbitrator. But some gain is better than no gain.
