I’m a glass half full kinda person, 13 days straight at home is great.
14-15 would be mo’ better but hey…you can’t have everything you asked for.

It really doesn't matter what the name of the union is... The crucial thing is how the pilot group behaves. You can't have Alabama State switch jerseys with Alabama and then go out and beat Georgia even if they have Nick Saban coaching. Some of yall fought really hard and almost got there in 2020 before Covid. In the end you have yourselves to blame. If you stay there until the next "Negotiations" then you are "Purchase's b!tch". Therein lies the problem.

In 2016 when the Amalgamation intention was announce BK told everyone in a crew call, "If you're younger than 55 you should leave." Did you? Some of us did. We're starting to upgrade now and are certainly not "Purchase's b!tich".... Brush up on those resumes ladies and gentlemen. Your next contract is historically 10 years away.
Talk about tone deaf… You cannot pretend like the 2750 leadership and the NC, who in many cases were doubling their salaries off of union dues $$ all through these long years, have no level of culpability. They had stated goals which they failed to meet. They had idiotic boot and shop campaigns which blew up in their faces. But this idiotic long-term battle plan, crafted and executed entirely BY THEM is specifically what failed. Talk about leaving… BobbyK sure as s hit left. Took a cool $300k of our money with him too. Per year. But sure, gloss over all of that and blame the pilot group…

Tone deaf AF.

You can’t blame the arbitrator for forcing it into arbitration.
He simply does what arbitrators do…apparently it involves shot glasses and an Ouija board.

Isn't this you?

"I know of a few pilots that left the ACMI to go back to regionals as it was deteriorating their health."

4 legs a day in and out of crappy airports, indeed. You can have it for junior varsity pay.

That is great for you, totally understand your priorities and everyone can sell their dream as best they can. That's your dream and maybe the majority which I would believe IF they have done both to the max extent, not a taste here a smattering there. I for the most part do 15 days and able to get home on the last day. My 15-17 days of "work" does not equate to 3, 4, 5 days whatever a few times a month work you do. 4 pilots, or 3 gives me a few hours chill'n in my leisure suit, fix a meal or two, watch a show, sleep, gaming I guess, whatever you like. Land and eat somewhere. Sleep, go hiking around, have experiences what no one else ever will on a routine basis, or stay locked up in a very nice hotel (not always). 12hrs, 18hrs, 24hrs, 30hrs sometimes more after landing so we can plan some good times or be bored out of our gourds in some really interesting places (or not). 2 weeks off or more is great, wife prefers it vs in and out every 4,5 whatever days and the plan to catch whatever you can outbound if you commute. I enjoy the international, but domestic - well thank god the windows don't open (74). But that's just me. We can all try to sell our situation, but until you have the experience anything you or I say is just an air biscuit. Alot of folks can't stand to be away from home and yes they're some hiccups abroad. It's all about your priorities. Nobody has their eyes closed coming here. This place is definitely not for you as I am not for what you deem as shangrila. Definitely not my cup of tea since I can actually get it visiting my favorite countries and not Amazon, etc.

Bottom Line: Because of what we do and the true diversity of it all, it pains many that this place could be the Best place hands down. Never will, but it works very well for many. Cheers!

Oh, and IAP2750 should change their name to PB2750 (short for Purchase’s B/tches) because they’ve had their asses handed to them each and every step of the way.

Discuss.
That's a stunning assertion........

Every time you flew sick, you deserved this contract.
Every time you flew with someone else who was sick, you deserved this contract.
Every time you flew tired, you deserved this contract.
Every time you flew fatigued, you deserved this contract.
Every time you took a $50 meal voucher for having the wrong catering, you deserved this contract.
Every time you let scheduling change your pattern without you calling them out, you deserved this contract.
Every time you coordinated your own travel and hotel rooms, you deserved this contract.
Every time you picked up open time, VX'd, or out based, you deserved this contract.

And on and on.........look in the mirror and you'll find all the answers as to why you absolutely deserve this contract.

When they do, here's to hoping you volunteer because we all know you've got it figured out... It's easy. Just agree to whatever JD says and get a contract ASAP. He's looking out for all of you!
