Good point. We do go to more places (internationally) than all the others combined (aforementioned carriers) it would definitely help a lot of folks.

Atlas crews, can anyone give a bump to your JS Committee asking about a timeline to allow OAL international? As of now, K4, ABX, ATI and WGA have been allowing them (according to post and listings).
We’d love to see them come back, as crews, we know it’s not the pilots who stopped it. Thanks for the efforts! |
Hi I am a new bird here. 2 questions
1. Just curious how OAL international jumpseat in 5Y works before COVID, flight deck or seat behind the flight deck door? Coworkers keep telling me FAA only allows us international FD JS in our own metal. 2. Company union said 5Y reopen OAL international JS a couple days ago, any Atlas brother can verify? |

I am checking on the status of International Jumpseat. You will be on the International Gendec so there is no issue with it being “your metal” you are considered working crew as a jumpseater. |
So did Atlas resume OAL international jump seats?

Pass the word to your friends at our reciprocal agreement airlines. Our updated International Jumpseat policies are as follows: - International Jumpseat Listings will be made via ID90 (preferred) no later than 24 hours before scheduled departure. No exceptions. - The International Jumpseater is entirely responsible to have in their possession the proper visas and/or vaccinations required by the country of entry, as a normal passenger would. - The Jumpseater’s passport must have at least one blank passport page and the passport must not be within six months of expiration. - Jumpseating into or out of HKG and all of mainland China remains unavailable due to the complexity of their Covid restrictions. Our captains are NOT responsible for checking jumpseaters’ required country-of-entry documentation, only their required jumpseat credentials and CASS. It must be said though, that a simple reminder to an OAL jumpseater that they are subject to the entry requirements of a regular passenger, and do not fall under any “Crew Exemption” status, would be recommended to not only facilitate a quick customs process upon entry, but also maintain the integrity of our international jumpseating program. |

I assume the cabin seats are the “old school” first class style/recliner seats?
