This is as of the June vacancy…

I’ve added a separate chart for the junior upgrades for each fleet as well.

Well done.

Nice. Fair statement that the junior captain awards are all post merger? If so, I agree that provides truth in advertising.

This is all post merger information. The first chart highlights the most jr in base, and most junior upgrades highlights the upgrade movement. There fleets where post merger upgrade times have gone up.

No. The 777 upgrades were pre merger. 777 and 747 are about the same for upgrade now…about 5.5 years. Those that upgraded more recently than that are going to be junior in their seat for several years.

All other fleet upgrades are accurate post merger dates.

Edit: I just went back and looked at the charts and the “Jr Captain awards” chart is accurate for the most recent awards. 747 and 777 are very close…767 a few months junior…737 a couple years junior…as of right now. Who knows what the future might bring.

Junior FO DOH is 02/14/2022. So you should be able to get it 2-3 months after OE.

Great info here.

Slightly off topic: how long overall is the training in MIA once you’re hired and start a class in a wide body?
