on the 74 and I’m assuming the 77 since they are flying very similarly, you will get paid CRT over 64. With the exception of conflict bidding training months, vacation, sick calls or being on R1. I’m usually around 76-80 hours of pay per month.

I fail to see why people keep on saying this…

Meh, sure. But at my regional MMG for year one FOs is $90 at 75 hours. That means $6,750 per month of $81,000 for the year. Meanwhile with my June check, which represents half of the year so far, I've grossed $60,283 or an avg of $10,047 monthly. And there hasn't been and isn't any premium pay available to FOs rn. Not saying someone should plan or budget around that $10k per month. But, knowing whether or not you *might* be able to make $7k/month vs $10k/month is a reasonable thing to ask about imo.

Hi all! Sorry for bumping two older threads - I've been offered the option between the 747 and 777, and was hoping you'd be kind enough to answer a couple of questions. I have read through everything, but heard some conflicting info when talking to the company, so wanted to see if anything has changed recently:
1. Sounds like the 777 is a bit more predictable in schedule and layovers, but is a smaller fleet. Does the 747 actually fly more? I know you can only bank on MMG, however I am also interested in raw flying hours as I've just been commuting to reserve and not flying much at all (I know the landings will be hard to come by).
2. Bases: The docs Atlas gave me showed LAX, CVG junior for the 777 (easier commute), and ANC for the 747, I'm assuming that still sounds right?
3. For someone who wants to explore a bit (Asia/Europe), either one of them better for that? I assume on the 74 you shouldn't plan your layovers with all the changes. Do crews hang out together more on the 777?
I've read up on the seats/bunks/etc, any other tiebreaker you can think of going into next year?
Thanks in advance!
