They pay mileage if coming from over 75 miles away or they will buy a plane ticket. While on the topic, you can stay at the training hotel regardless of distance away. We have 2 local guys but both have rooms here and stay when they want/need.

There's a lot of union propaganda here at Atlas. They (the leadership) have a lot to prove and they know it. After pouring over the current CBA I still can't understand how anyone signed off on this POS contract. I know the economic climate was different at the time but no line guarantee? Really?

I wasn't here at the time but I thought it was mostly arbitrated.

No it wasn't. It was just the person running the social media page putting the facts out there. Partially out of frustration, amusement, and irony, but also as a factual evidence for our pilot group.

$0.54 per mile up to $450 each way.

Mileage is over 75? I heard 100 or 130 miles somewhere?

Atlas Air Hiring

You guys are mixing up Gateway travel and travel to training. To be eligible for GT your residence must be more than 130 miles from your Base, however, the Company is not required to provide transportation between a Crewmember’s residence and the training location if the Crewmember resides within seventy-five (75) miles of the training location based on the distance as determined by AAA.

Sorry for the confusion. So per AAA, I am 106 miles from my base (not training). Can I file for mileage reimbursement?

Have an interview on 18 January, any updated interview gouge out there? The email says it will go from 8 am until 6 pm. I'm staying at the Double Tree if anyone else wants to get together on the 17th.
