I dont live in base, havent had any real imputed income to speak of, and admit i have probably done about 15 total days of Vx in the year which was spread over 3 different OT trips. I seem to average about 78hrs a month with no OT. [($105 x 78) x 12] comes to $98k/year. The extra $10k or so came from the Vx.

Looking at my future options, thinking- about when can I apply for Atlas.
What TT is required before Atlas will look at someone?

If you meet the mins, you are competitive. 1,500 total and 500 turbine. ZERO PIC! You can skip it and go to a regional. You'll upgrade faster, get hours faster, and likely make more money.

Do not underestimate ACMI.
It really needs to be your ‘thing’.
You’ll either be content or unhappy.
There seems to be no middle road.
And you will upgrade quicker at a regional.
It just depends on where you are right now and where you want to go.

If you have no home life, no hobbies, and want to hide from a short life living 22 or more days per month on the road, compensating your ego by flying a big Boeing making pittance to survive on, then ACMI is awesome. Especially at Atlas.

I believe if you have, or can obtain a restricted ATP, no felonies in the past 10 years and are willing to show up the job is there for the taking.

You should leave. Really.
Vacate the seat for somebody who wants to be there.
