It’s just a comfortable number that lets me not worry about changes to lifestyle or savings. Sounds like I know what I need to for now. Thanks for all the answers today.

CRT is Calculated Rig Time. Think of it as a line rig. Whether your line starts with an operating flight out of your base, a DH from your base or sitting reserve in your base your CRT starts when you go on duty and is paid till when your schedule shows you getting off duty in your base. With the carve outs if you call in sick or have training in the middle of a trip. My block time beat the rig one month last year. So I figured I was paid $48.25 an hour from when the schedule showed me leaving base till when it showed me back.

It's more than doable. On the 76 your first year you can make the 60k after taxes.

Like many mentioned. Live by your guarantee, everything else is gravy.

74 - If you must: Using 15.5 days gives you about 75 hrs when using the “you work 17 days” example. All dependent upon when you start and actually finish but it’s a good guesstimate doing “17 day lines.”

I have a 15 day line next month but it’s really 13.8 calculated since I leave late the Day 1 and get back 14 hrs into day 15 so maybe 67 hours using the 4.85. Block is 68ish and guarantee being 62. Being a lifestyle type I normally choose the slim line minimum days away. But sometimes I flex to 17 day lines but realize schedule changes are inevitable.

As highlighted before, impacts include Vaca, Training and per diem being on the plus side is actually being taxed right now though

Since first year pay rates are equal across fleets, on any fleet, you could only make 60k in the first 12 months if you averaged 76.5 credit hours/month. Not easy to do on the 767/737 unless you bid reserve lines. More possible on the 747/777.
(4 * $1600) + (8 * 76.5 * $87.56).

You get per diem in training and I believe that it's 24 hrs. So that's an additional $1500 per month For 4 months.

So on average $87 x 65 for 8 months is = $5655 x 8 = $45,240

And $3000 per month for 4 months training is $12000.

So it's $57,240 per year and if we include perdiem for those 8 months (around $500 conservatively per month) is $4000.

So yeah you can make $60k+ your first year and if say that the above is quite conservative. You can vx during high season or bid outbase. On the 74 you still get solid covid MOU pay so...

On the 73 though...I can't vouch for it

So has anyone had an interview who applied in the last couple months? Wondering how long the process might be before getting one.

Also is there anywhere I can read up on any advantages and disadvantages of going for the 73, 74, 76 and 77?

Not to be that guy.. but there is a lot of information in this forum about the different advantages/disadvantages to each fleet.
If you want to PM me I can try to answer direct questions, but to sum it up.. 77/74 = most pay and you fly all over 76/73 = less pay, but you’re home more/mostly in the vicinity of the US.

I’m not sure about the interview/job offer process right now.. but the 737 is over staffed and probably will take a while to get a class date (next year or late this year would be my guess) unless we get an announcement of more airframes in the near future.
Can’t speak for the other fleets
