Personal opinion: It will come and go in waves.

One wave will be people who had offers elsewhere pre COVID and are hopeless about the progress of a new, improved contract at Atlas. The longer the contract takes, the more will resign in the meantime.

The other wave will be those who are waiting around to see exactly what the next contract looks like. If it's not up to their expectations/needs, they will subsequently bail as they see the rest of the industry opening up next year.

From people I know here I’m seeing a bit of pre covid CJOs as well as new interviews and offers from one of the legacies and purple & brown

Default Realistic First & Second Year Pay

Ladies & Gents

Thinking about potentially trying for Atlas, I was hoping that some of you wouldn't mind sharing your take home pay figures for the First and Second year you were at Atlas? Just trying to get an understanding (realistic) of what one might bring home during the first two years. I know the min guarantee is lower than most airlines, and wondering how much one might fly above this typically. Thanks in advance, yes I have looked at the Hourly rates etc on APC just want a more realistic figure.

Take home is all over the place and it depends on what benefits you have elected to. The 74 fleet, you will easily break first year min guarantee. I am looking at 80 plus credit this month and next month I should break 70 credit plus. The 777 is similar. I can’t say the same for the 76 or 73. A 76 guy would have to answer.

You can count on either CRT or min guarantee. In my 3 years at Atlas, I've only beat CRT a handful of times. So figure on 4.85 hours times however many days you're on (Prorated to Z time. So, if you duty in at 1200z, you only get 1/2 of 4.85). If you have a sick call or have training, plan on a guarantee of 62 hours (or 50 hours if you're on 1st year). You can VX to work on days off for some extra cash, but that's a crap-shoot.

Plan/budget on 4 months of training pay ($1500 + per Diem)
After that 15(days) x 4.85 ( CRT) = 72.75 hrs monthly.
Anything more is gravy but you can’t plan on that.

This is very insightful, thank you. Question about health insurance: is it halfway decent for families and when does the coverage start? Like waiting period after onboarding

I pay $233.00 per paycheck for a family of 4 under the Cigna Open Access Plus In Network Plan. So far no complaints here; pretty much everyone takes Cigna hence it isn’t hard to find in network providers. I believe when I was hired, there was a 2 week waiting period.
