Hey all, any new hiring rumors what with the A350F announcement and attrition to the legacies? I heard from another source possible hiring by late summer; not sure if that was pure conjecture or they knew something.
Also curious about the flying out of SEA and LAX bases and seniority to hold both. SEA is all 76, correct? Typical 74 routes at LAX? Thanks 🤙

SEA is 76 only, expect MMG starting at 103.55, yes you read that correctly. If you value time at home, it’s a great gig with many days of upwards of 20 in some cases. LAX is our most senior 747 and 777 base at the moment. I wouldn’t expect to be able to hold it as a new hire, but things could always shift. Expect Asia as for the flying type.

SEA 767 is junior, bottom 10ish on the list. Probably all displacements off the 777. It a lot of Pacific pax charter, but you could also find yourself flying salmon and flowers out of Columbia, or in Louisville during peak for Atlas Appreciation trips.
LAX is 747 and 777, but limited operating trips out of LA. NRT and HNL on the 747. XMN and SZX on the 777. Lots of Commercial DHs on Day 1 to ORD, JFK, HNL, ATL, MEX, GDL, etc, essentially making LAX pilots home based with Alternative Travel.
The company tried shrinking LA even more in... November. The bid was canceled, probably too much displacement chaos.
