Thanks Driver.

F15MD11: I would do two things: 1. Keep updating your credentials regularly. 2. Call DB until you get through and respectfully inquire.
With all of the qualified applicants, it is very easy to fall through the cracks. There is a fine balance from being a stalker/PITA and a very committed candidate. While most of us know patience is required in this process, you certainly have endured----and served. For the later, Thanks. Best of luck. |
Thanks to everyone who has previously posted. All of your info here helped quite a bit during the interview process. I am starting 747 class on the 28th. Does anyone know what the junior bases are for the 747 and if there is any chance of getting Miami?
Thanks, Climb245k |

Thanks, Climb245k Congrats, and in 3 days you can tell us what junior base is. |
Junior bases are ANC and HSV. People have been getting CVG and LAX after a few months on line though. MIA is senior, good luck with that one... Rumors of more South America flying for DHL so you never know.

"Climb, did you interview the 15th/16th/17th? Were you offered employment immediately or did you get a call sometime later?" I interviewed on the 15th and received a call that evening which was fortunate as I didn't have my water wings with me.

Just had a call from a friend and he brought up a topic that is not covered on any Atlas thread that I could find: UAV experience.
This pilot had done 13 hour UAV missions with 4 guys in a box (kind of like being stuck in the sim for 13 hours). He wondered if he could use that on the PAQ? I called MIA, and they told me to have the pilot put it down. They also said to put his UAV time on his resume...just make sure it was marked UAV. They also said they would look into updating the process to accommodate for more and more guys with UAV experience. cliff GRB |

The total time minimums at Atlas are only 2000 hours.
