A lot of shuffling in the awards including upgrades AND 767-->747 transitions!! Date was "TBD" but congrats to the 4 that got seat lock released early!

And two captains bid to the right seat? Including a JFK 747 CA bidding JFK 767 FO?

Yikes.

Maybe he failed the first lesson they teach in airline pilot academy...in a class called Bidding 101.

I'm jealous. I live in San Diego and still have to hump it to CVG due to my equipment. My system seniority holds it.

(Keep a spot open for January 2016... I'll be throwing elbows. ;))

Taken at face value it's very odd. This has to be one of those times when there has to be more to the story.

My guess is that BC has another agenda. He's from there I believe. Pretty sure he will get to spend his last bit of time doing exactly as he pleases. If he doesn't need the scratch, more power to him.

Why would he bid FO? He could be the #3 CA in JFK or CVG on the 76.

Plus, in my 2 years as a JFK 767 FO, I saw JFK three times. Hope he likes CVG R-2.

So hiring stopped? Shrinking continues?

Rumors of a June 30 class but suppose we'd have heard for sure by now.

Crew force is stable since January vacancy bid at 1,002 total pilots, but we've hired 60 to keep up with retirements/attrition.
