May I ask what year pay as CA were you when you left your regional?

I didn't realize how much some positions at some regionals paid. My 1st year here I made about twice what I did at the regional I was at. My second year here I made more than the -121 supplemental I was at, and i made the most I have ever made at multiple jobs in 4 different careers.

Cliff, some regionals have captain scales that top $100 an hour. The real way they make $$ is with soft credits. They might work hard and fly 90 hours, but they'll credit like 115 for that. That's a lot more than our 62 hour guarantee on 767 FO pay for our junior guys. If they're on the 74 the should do better pretty quick though.

Things are starting to spin up. Interviews going to happen in New York (for the first time in many years) next week for eight interviews. Be on your toes.

CandlerKid 07-09-2014 10:42 PM

Ha! I meant 767. Busted!! I'm guessing the interview process is changing if it won't be down at Miami with flight ops? Hopefully somebody can get a new gouge to the people interviewing ASAP. Why the change? Ceiling finally cave in during a rain storm or is there a legit reason!?!

Whaledriver 07-10-2014 12:51 AM

This sounds like a one time thing and the guys interviewing will be the gouge. Same grading as has been recently mentioned.

Tanker-driver 07-10-2014 06:18 AM

Maybe the interviewees will get lucky and get to stay at the Five Clowns.
