Offer some type of cadet program with the guarantee of an interview at Atlas and the opportunity to fly Heavies right from the get go, and you'll have them lined up around the block wanting to fly the legendary jumbo Boeings.[/QUOTE]

Hmm, still need an ATP to work for Atlas. Seems like your plan is total BS.

But if the new hires at Atlas just follow the contract, they will be involved in an illegal job action, so why would they go to Atlas?

I am changing my mind, sorry LK. How about JW, hmmm, yes Radioactive would sum it up well toxic for 12000 years. The only way to clean it up to to double bag it place it in lead lined barrel and bury it in Nevada 5000 feet underground.

Sure, the sudden epiphany is taught by none other than the company during recurrent. The CRM class this year points out we often do not precisely follow procedure and this becomes what is referred to as "normalized deviation" which leads to bad things. They are directing us to evaluate ourselves and our fellow crew to CHANGE this behavior and follow the procedures put in place. Just doing what we are being taught and directed as to the safest course of action.

So, 172 to 747. I can't imagine any problems there.

They do it in RJs and the whale is easier to fly than an RJ. The Captain will keep them out of trouble internationally till they get used to it, so the new F/O can just concentrate on flying the jumbo.

Ok, despite the fact that a) you're a psychopath and b) RJs are much easier to fly than a 74 ( I'm assuming you've never flown an RJ and you wrongly think there is no automation on them) ... the question is do you really think the company would pay current pay or higher pay rates for literally on the job training without pushing to lower the pay wages? Are you for lowering the bar? Given your pro-company stance I'm assuming you don't care about the level of the bar. Am I right?
