Who cares.. besides, no-pilot airplanes would make for a terribly expensive operation. Think about the number if redundant automatic, fail-operational systems that they would have to incorporate and maintain. The obnoxiously expensive software. The remote human monitoring that will likely be required. The operational complexities would be immense, nevermind the developmental costs and hard sell
to the public. Pilots are way cheaper IMO.
Just because you can figure out a way to physically do something, doesn’t mean that it will be a viable business idea.

Seems like we have these threads every couple of months. Of course they’ll replace pilots. They’ll replace just about everything down the road. I’m gonna die too.
It’s all just a matter of when. No sense in getting all worked up about it.
