They’re invading a country almost the size of Texas. I don’t think that money is something they’re worried about on the front end.

They actually flattened their long-term defense budgets about a year ago. They cannot out-spend us, that in part is how they lost the empire that Putin is now trying to reclaim.

Even focusing on certain emphasis areas, likely asymmetric, they still can't outspend us even in their focus areas (unless we let them). They spend about $70B (peak)... we spend more than ten times that.

Their superpower is aggression and intimidation. Only works until somebody calls the bluff.

Yeah I left. Just wasn't for me. Waking up in cold sweats each day thinking about the job. I just log on anytime there is a world crisis to see all the experts chime in. It's amazing how much pilots know about everything.

Isn't it just the craziest thing seeing a nation other than the USA invading ****holes?

Yes, but I’m not arguing total military and its infrastructure and logistics train. I’m talking about cyber warfare which I would imagine is significantly cheaper than standing up and equipping a few divisions.

Can you make an ad first where a girl explains how she has two moms and then grew up as a strong woman who then worked in a nuclear plant?

The move in crude oil is coming off as traders realize there is no play here.

You may have a better understanding of the culture. But the withdrawal plan that they had was not executed. It was 'revised' by higher ups in the chain of command. Not in Tampa.
Do you not know how that whole chain of command thingy works?

Axl, I posted that for people who are spoon fed ABC/NBC/CBS/Fox/MSNBC which only has a US POV. Does this thread really need any more posts from a myopic point of view?
Perhaps you should read a bit about the Yalta Conference and Stalin's concerns for a buffer zone. FDR and Churchill agreed to the eastern European buffer zone. The west took that buffer zone away from Russia after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
I would have thought you knew more about the history here; Santayana was talking to people like you.

Is this a joke? NATO is the US. Without the US, NATO is nothing.
