Do they fly contract feed for another airline like actual regionals or do they fly their own passengers?
Do they fly any planes that are recognized as regional jets by current US standards, or do they fly planes that are considered mainline planes? Just curious. You seem to have an axe to grind.
dude it’s in their name “Regional”...they fly regionally. I don’t see flights like LA to Chicago. I see flights like Tampa to Charleston...AKA regional.

plus they fly regional sized equipment (just because they call an A220 an Airbus, it’s still a Bombardier) and they get regional sized paychecks.

A lot of route overlap with Spirit and Frontier.

I don’t think Delta is paying regional rates on the A220. 😂
Just saying……….

The separation you are looking for is FFD and non-FFD carrier. I would imagine anyone would understand Breeze does not belong to the regional subsection.

What rule book are you using for breeze to be in the regional section?

my point exactly! It just public opinion what is considered “regional” or “commuter” if your old school.

but for my definition, like I said before, it’s in the name. Regional...you operate within the region.

example:

what makes an international airport international??? Hmm maybe you have international destinations.

Maybe the DOT/FAA will give Breeze some of Spirit's FLL gates for free to help them grow?

What region does Mesa fly in? I’ve seen them on both coasts. And international. What does that make Mesa? How about Alaska? They seem to be concentrated on the west coast. And JetBlue seems to be concentrated on the east coast. Breeze will be flying on all coasts and international in the not too distant future. They sell their own tickets. They have no capacity purchase agreements. They fly airplanes that have never flown at an express/regional carrier in the US. But, you still have some axe to grind with them. Finally someone with lower pay than you who you can throw jabs at since it’s finally not your airline at the bottom?
