Don’t let the negative comments on here get you down. Forums always bring out the negativity in all of us. Remember, JetBlue was once a startup that everyone thought would be “just a fad” and it started during a downturn as well (well-it grew through one). Some of you may use this as an opportunity to build time and move on while others are taking a risk at “buying low” and riding the front if what could be a unique wave. Don’t know if you have jump seat reciprocity up and running yet but I hope to meet some of you if you ever need a UAL jumpseat out to Hawaii or somewhere else the 767/757 flies domestically. Neelman has an excellent track record and a good airline mind. Enjoy the ride.

From our perspective, startups can be considered a necessary evil.

Without them, the public/congress would complain about lack of competition and lack of options in the market for the public.

The good news is that startups are hard, few people can pull it off, and by the time they grow to a significant size their costs tend to be in the ballpark with the rest of the industry. We've seen this movie before... with the same director.

Unfortunately, UA and AA are unwilling to come to the table at the moment, but we are carrying everyone on board, so if you ever need a lift our JS is still available!
Does Breeze connect to any UAL or AA hubs? No?

Nope. And honestly probably never will. Unless the 220 does hub cities to very small cities on the opposite coast or something. BZ probably wonít have many legacy JS agreements for a few years I imagine.

Default JS Agreements..

Breeze has a Reciprocal with SWA already and expecting one with Delta soon. Many with the top Regionals happened almost out the gate.

Having said that, ANY pilot from ANY airline with Cass can fly with Breeze any time you like. No Reciprocal required.. Other Legacy pilots are already jumping to work - American pilots CHS to TPA direct, for example, versus having to go through ATL like they did before Breeze arrived.

Not sure if you missed the point. AA pilots are not jumpseating to work CHS-TPA, like the guy said.

A little slower, I suppose... the Pilot LIVES in Charleston. And the pilot flies for American on trips that START in Tampa. So he/she commutes TO Tampa FROM Charleston.

There are no trips that start in TPA. They probably start with a DH to TPA. Good for that guy I guess. I would want to avoid CLT and MIA too for my commute from CHS
