anyways I have a buddy said that is going to training there soon. They are sending him via Greyhound. You get dead headed via Greyhound a lot and you real easily make Gold status with Greyhound. It some pretty sweet perks like early boarding, free WiFi, and free snack while you wait for your transfer at the terminal.

The CEO of Breeze on Tuesday said Breeze may have to shutdown for a month temporarily due to pilot staffing. (I kind of think that’s unlikely myself) In addition, employees now receive $2500 for referring a new hire pilot.

I am also genuinely interested in Breeze and it’s development. It’s hard to start any airline these days (although the post-COVID travel boom with cheap fares will help). The fact that Breeze/Neeleman selected the A220-300 early on and saw it’s potential from a flexible/operational standpoint aligned well with my thinking at the time. I think the route planners at Breeze are going to have so many route options with the A220 - it will be very interesting to watch. I think JB will also do very well with the A220-300.
