You should FOIA your own FAA records to see what will show up. My discontinuance letter was included, and I'm 99% sure a pink slip would too.

No chance, pilots need to be perfect human beings that can never fail a single task in their entire lives. You should have been a Boy Scout growing up, Varsity quarterback in high school who turned down a scholarship to USC so you could go to the Naval Academy. Then became a fighter pilot who ran marathons and saved puppies on weekends. All this while never, not once failing at anything you did. Only if you have done all that and are now a good regional puppet will you have even just a shot of hope to getting on with one of the big 3...
Mistakes happen, you learned from them and if you keep a good attitude things will work out. Best of luck

Anyone who “actually believes” such an absurd thing should not become a pilot anyway, due to an unsafe level of gullibility. Luckily, you wised up in time.

Currently a CFI, just keeping one eye on the future. How limited are my chances at getting hired at a major off the street (no flow, etc) with three checkride busts? Details are as follows:
1. Single Engine Add On Rating to Commercial Certificate
- Didn't add full flaps on a short field landing, landed long.
2. CFI first attempt
- Preflight was not detailed enough. I readily admit that if it was with a student it would have been unprofessional, plain and simple.
3. CFI second attempt
- Steep turns I performed were not within ACS and I did not admit it during the ride.
I thank you and welcome both your questions and criticism.

It is quite a different hiring market today compared to 2018. Three busts with none recent, addressed properly at an interview, and some regional TPIC should not be a show-stopper or even much of a speed-pump.
