Default Two jobs?

Does anyone or does anyone know of pilots that work two jobs? I'm planning to do so later, not for financial upside but for my passion for aerospace engineering as well as flying either private or majors. I hear of some stories of pilots being business owners or fireman but was course just how common having two jobs was in this industry!

I have, for many years. I know a lot of others that have, too.

Yes quite common. Some seniority will help. Probably need a lot of seniority to do it at a regional.

Many jobs/businesses are compatible with flex schedules, but engineering is not typically one of them unless you have enough experience to do consulting. A smaller company might go for it.
