Career change
#11
I would appreciate some quality feed back to my question. I am Currently 55 years old. I have been a Senior Project Manager for a mechanical contractor in the mid-west. I have been responsible for multimillion dollar projects. I have approximately 1760 hrs with 710 multi engine hrs. I am currently working on getting my CFI, CFII and MEI ratings re-instated due to letting them lapse. I have always wanted to fly for my career and I am ready to make a career move and never look back. Question- am I to old for this move. Thanks in Advance.

I have already been through all three check rides although they were tough, they weren’t that bad. I spoke with a DE and he gave me me a list of things to study up on. I just wasn’t sure if I really needed to do it.

Family and Job situation back in the early 90 drove me out of the field, but it never gets out of your system. 55 years old and 26 years in engineering and the retirement is set.....TIME TO GO FLYING. Just completed the BFR and going for the IPC then I'll be looking for that first paying load of rubber dog s###.
