That doesn't work going into a hub, especially if it's VFR.

P.S. It would be great in a few years for you to come back to this thread and let us all know where you're at.
Hasn't been a few years but i wanted to thank you all for the help and support and post a update on where im at. I have a impressive long list of TBNT letters from 121 and 135 alike, as to be expected.

I got my ATP completed in a light twin, paid for spitfires interview prep to learn how to talk about the termination from training at OO and went to WIA to meet and greet companys and im planning to go to RTAG in Oct. To pay the bills and still be a pilot I am flight instructing. T

here is some good news and with it i am hoping to tap into all the knowlege here for some advice. I have a offer from Southern Airways Express as a Caravan Captian, I also have a offer with a Part 91 gig that will be PIC in a Pilatus and a SIC type in a Hawker 850xp. Any opinions on the better choice ?

Both build TPIC Single, one has Jet experience i feel would be good for my growth as a pilot. On the other hand passing a 135 training program makes my PRD look better.

Anyone have opinions on what Talent aquisition would rather see at a 121 regional ?

I'm not a recruiter, nor do I have any special insight into what recruiters prefer, but I would go with Southern. 135 > 91. Also a SIC type rating is not impressive especially if you will primarily be flying the single.

Agreed - 135 turbine PIC probably helps more in the OP's situation.

Hawker and Pilates gig is 100000000 times better. You would be stupid to go fly thr caravan over those two.

Also have you reapplied applied to skywest? Try milking them in the initial email explaining you are willing to sign the contract. Lol

Skywest is the one who washed him out. It sounds to me like he has applied to all the regionals and they aren't biting.

I think the Part 135 training on his record will help him move on faster, he is right to want to improve his PRD. The Hawker and Pilates may be more fun to fly but won't help him as much long term.

Part 91 doesn’t have any meaningful training ‘gates’, the requirements for a SIC are shockingly low.
135 has FAA oversight, a POI, a Chief Pilot and a DO, a .293 and .297 and .299 and record keeping requirements.
Part 91 doesn’t mean d!ck

That's why I was thinking, but expressed in a more detailed way than I did.

What OP needs now is Turbo jet, high altitude, advanced automation experience. Not paperwork and history of passed checkrides. If he takes the caravan gig buzzing around <10,000ft at 150kts he'll whined up in the same situation he was last time. Behind the airplane and another failure. Take the jet gig and get a well rounded understanding of operations in the Flight Levels. Arrivals, approaches, callouts, FMS work etc will set you up for the next 121 event and can Guarente it will give the hiring team more confidence in his ability to pass. At the end of the day OP has still never flown a JET.

There is little that is less demanding than flying a "jet."

It's not exactly riding a unicycle.
