Well today I got the standard e-mail of thank you for applying and if you're selected for an interview we will contact you, I guess that's better than a rejection letter lol :)

It's a start! I think it be best to just keep updating with new resumes once a month or every 50 hours or so.

i have an interview in september. i've read a lot of negative feedback about pdt, unfortunately. my thinking is that it has to be better than instructing.

It is a lot better than flight instructing, but there is no future here. Come here for a little while build your piloting skills and flight time and apply to where ever you really want to work.

Yeah, Mr. Trout won't give me an interview for nothing. I've been practically begging for over a year.

Piedmont does have a lot of negative surrounding it. However, it is better than instructing. For those going in, the training department is not the greatest. There is no consistency between the sim instructors, which, can be extremely frustrating for someone new to the Airline & AQP training game.

It's good to hear that it is better than instructing. I have also read quite a bit on how bad the training is but have not read about specifics. How hard is it? Is it that much more difficult than any other regional training? I can understand how not getting consistency between sim instructors would be a set back. I had not heard of AQP training until now but did just look it up.

Hi folks,

I just came upon this thread looking for some info on airlines hiring pilots with relatively low times. I have 1035 TT over 900 PIC, 285 Instrument and only 63 multi time.

My expectations are not high at this time, I just want to fly for an airline now, I don't care if it is flying props, I don't care where my base would be, I just need to start somewhere and then eventually will think about flying a fancy jet once my times and experience are built up.

I tried to apply at Piedmont but their website seems to be down, could not access their website. What website did you guys use to apply with them?

Do you know of any other regional airlines hiring people with minimums I can meet??? Thanks!

Leo.

Leo, have you signed up at Airline Apps?

You should have no trouble getting on at Eagle unless you have quite a few skeletons in the closet.

Eagle as you sit right now; If you can manage to get to 100 Multi, then the doors of Skywest, ASA etc open for you.
