I would listen to rick... If you have ever been to an airline interview they usually look at your logbook and do a little review... Even eagle asks you to mark all your "checkrides" in your logbook for your interview. You think that if you went to ERAU, DCA, UND, etc that they dont know the "game" already about stage checks? All they have to see is "UNSAT" and the red flag will go up.

Honesty is better than bending the truth and then being pulled out of class and booted for what you were told by the FSDO vs what the airline thinks you were hiding prior failures. HMMMM still want to go with the FSDO?

I have had numerous interviews with a few regionals (prior to getting hired) that asked me about checkrides then ask about stage checks after I told them I went to UND. They know what to ask for, read your body language, and can look for it in your logbook. If you are up front, be humble, and what you did to correct your problem, its better for YOU than to worry about when your past might catch up with you down the road.
