Training records request by 121
If you are applying to a 121 airline as I understand it they request a copy of your training records from your previous 121 airline. How far back does this go? Is it from your entire time at your previous airline? Does a recurrent PC failure show up anywhere other than your training records? I failed one 6 years ago...just wondering if it stays with me. Thanks!

AC 120-68F. Also order 8000.88
One thing to consider, the carriers are not supposed to furnish records that are more than 5 years from the date of request, but often they are all "dumped" into a file at the carrier.

Ok thanks. ..how do I go about ordering these forms? Are these what a hiring 121 carrier would order? I want to see everything a 121 carrier would see on me as far as training.

request a copy of your training records from your Ex-chief pilot in writing. I believe they will furnish them for you. If you still know who he is, give him a call and ask him personally. My chief has no problem furnishing these records to our pilots when asked.
If you see something in there that should not be there, ask him to expunge it from your record ie. older than 5 years, before he sends it out the other carrier.
