It has to be training conducted under Part 142. From what I understand military training doesn't fall under that.

It wouldn't really help you all that much. Since you already meet the 1500 hour hurdle, it would just be used to look more attractive as an applicant. People using this reg are doing it to get the leg up on their ATP. Generally, most airline recruitment departments aren't really that attracted to high sim times.

I can't speak for all platforms, but in the P-3 world, our upgraded sims were never certified. They are often refered to as Level "D" sims, but are actual a Level "D" equivalent.

Yes, normally I wouldn't even mix sim time with total time terminology.

But since you have an ATP with less than 1500 TT you probably need to break that math out up front just so nobody thinks you made a gross typo.

Once you get 1500+ flight time, remove the sim time from total time.

Don't put your sim time on your resume and do not include it in your total
