NGPA 2016 Industry Expo
The National Gay Pilots Association (NGPA), is hosting its annual Industry Expo on January 24, 2016 in Palm Springs, CA. Visit Home - NGPA and under events to see more information develop, as airlines and vendors are signing up now to come. Registration for attendees will open the beginning of November. And $75 is less than other fairs, by far. I guess, I just don't understand why someone would pay the $75 instead of just joining for a year at $49 and getting in for "free"?

That we are! Many members of the NGPA leadership have been furloughed or sought employment in the recent past, and those were the times we didn't have the extra funds to be paying high fee's to attend job fairs. It is our mission to make this fun, relaxed and affordable, and if you attended last year, you would have walked away feeling that way.
The NGPA welcomes everyone into our community, Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Transgender, straight, and allies of the LGBT community. We don't discriminate as that would go against the very reason of our goal, fighting for equality. This is why it's open to the public. As an NGPA member ally, you are voguing to support us for the year. If someone doesn't want to become a year round member of the NGPA, we wanted to provide that option to attend not being a member. However, we wanted our members to have an advantage to attending.
