If the airline you're planning to interview with administers an ATP style written test (many of the regionals do), then the SA airline prep software will be good for that. If you're a previous customer of theirs, SA gives you a discount on the software.
The software is essentially the same as the 121 ATP test prep but with a somewhat reduced bank of questions. No figures/charts etc.

Watch the Jepp 'Chart Clinic' videos; its likely your interview will involve conversations around approach plates & enroute charts. A few companies have Sim ride and send you some limitations & profiles in advance. Learn them & good luck..

Unless you are interviewing at Skywest, most airlines just want to see if you are IFR proficient, since apparently a lot of people walk in and can't even brief an approach. Start with willflyforfood or aviationinterviews. Also don't assault the interviewer and you'll have a job.

All of this information is on their website. It is still by far the easiest way to do well on the ATP or interview test!

Now they have the ATM, not the ATP. But you are correct, the software "rental" expires after one year; I did not catch that when I bought it.
Kind of unfair, IMHO, that I cannot access the software that resides on MY computer, that I paid for, even if it's not updatable. But, them's the breaks, I guess.

That is not true at all! They are still supporting that software, actually several SIM centers are either recommending or including the ATP prepware in their courses. Even ATP Flight School has added it to their course. Your UN and password will expire with SA so if you bought it a while back whether you took the written or not it expired. If you have in fact taken the written then you do not get a renewal. They suggested you buy the interview prep because that's the product they provide for that purpose not a renewal of the entire ATP database.
