Regionals vary, but over the next few years probably 2-4 years regional FO, 1-2 years regional CA, then major.
Most major FOs make enough money to be comfortable, but if you're in a hurry for the bigger bucks I'd guess 2-4 years for first upgrade since many major FOs will bypass upgrade. Downside there is you'll stay junior for a long time since those bypassed FOs will eventually come in on top of you. Early upgrade at a major is typically for those who pay a lot of alimony, or really like high-end call girls.

No, I did my instructing in Chicago a few years back. Thinking about moving to DEN in the future for a lifestyle change of pace, and wanted to get back into flying at the same time.
Just curious what I'm looking at these days schedule/QOL wise. Want to get all the info I can before making any decisions or painting myself into a corner somehow.
