Did you run out of extra sims? That happens at OO. You get 5 extra sims and if you use up all 5, get to the final checkride, and fail, then there is usually little that you can do.

I know several guys who washed out of 121 training and were hired at GoJet and Mesa.

I know of 3 guys that washed out here at Mesa.

2 are now at SkyWest and one is at XJT.

You'll be just fine.

So at OO they still send you for a cleckride even though you're not ready?

When in doubt, wash them out!

There was a guy in my class who failed his oral twice and was fired, and is now at Skywest flying the exact same plane he was training for. I wouldn't sweat it too much.

This. When I was a FO one of my CA pairings for recurrent had 2 primary failures, and failed CA upgrade in the first attempt. Where are they now? Hired before the flow and driving an Airbus. I fly with many who have a "moment" in their past. Its not what it used to be.

Nope. If the instructor doesn't believe extra sessions will do it you won't get them. If after extra sessions you aren't ready you will not be signed off.

What a great thread. Here's how much you can F up and still find 121 employment.

That makes more sense to me. At least where I am. A senior APD or at least another instructor may sit in or conduct a review lesson to also determine the best course of action. But in no circumstances are pilot candidates signed of if they're not ready. That's not to say that they won't have a bad day on their check ride though. Some people just don't test well.
