It's official now. There is an email going around (posted on the PSA info thread) that PSA has partnered with Skywarrior in Pensacola for their RTP program. First Class starts in mid March and you have have to apply through the PSA website.

I have a Rotor Transition Program interview with PSA coming up and was curious to hear from anyone else who may have already blazed that trail, specifically about the technical portion. I've gotten the gouge from aviationinterviews.com but 90% of those questions are fixed wing/civil regs and 100% of my time is military helicopters. I'm just curious how much cramming I may or may not have to do to try to learn as much fixed wing and civil regs before my interview. Thanks in advance!

Haven't done a rotor to regional interview but I'm a rotor that has done a few interviews. You already got gouged up by aviationinterviews.com which is a good start. Sheppard Air's regional interview test prep is worth the cash in my opinion to help with the written. I think it is $35 and will take you about four hours to master the test bank. For the technical portion look through the PSA Interview Gouge thread that is about a month old. The charts that they used then and the types of questions are listed there.
They want to know that you can read an approach chart/fly instruments. They want to see who you are and if they would want to spend four days on the road with you. After reading the gouge thread if you have specific questions shoot me a PM. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
