Default Helicopters to Regionals

Interested in hearing anyone who has, is currently, or has seen anybody make this transition.

I'm a 1500 hour commercial instrument helicopter pilot currently getting the CMEL Instrument done, will just be a few short of the 250 Fixed Wing PIC required for ATP.

All other hour requirements are met.

Note: I'm not a military pilot and therefor don't qualify for R-ATP

I have a friend who did that. As long as you have a pulse and a clean criminal history, you're hired!

Btw, you can get the restricted ATP at 750TT since you are military.

Just did it, all civilian helicopter time, and I got hired.

PM if you got any other questions.

I see it says robbies and bells on your info. I flew 47s and 44s.
